The first Big Dig fundraiser took place earlier this year and the outcome was more than the organizers could have expected. Curtis McCutcheon and his wife Nicole put on the fundraiser and are thrilled to announce the event raised $22,321.17 for STARS.

If you missed the Big Dig, it was a farm to table experience with music. Business and community members purchased tables for the event. McCutcheon notes nearly 380 people came out to support the cause. When asked why they decided to do this, McCutcheon explains that he used to work for EMS and his wife still does and they wanted to give back to the industry. He adds they are both thankful for those who donated and came out to show their support of STARS. He notes they were still excited even when the event wrapped up and is looking forward to organizing the Big Dig again next year.
