A string of random vehicle break-ins plagued the Portage area Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

 

An unknown group of people stole miscellaneous items and there were definite attempts to steal the vehicles.

 

Constable Shannon Neff adds to protect yourself from these types of occurrences, it's best to keep your valuables out of plain sight and keep your doors locked.

 

Neff urges anyone who may have information on these crimes to contact the RCMP at 857-4445, or Crime Stoppers. .
