The board of directors for the Manitoba Air Show are giving Southport another nod.

They've announced a second installment after June's re-introduction of the show translated to 48 thousand dollars for local community charities.

Executive Director Hayden Henwood explains the sponsorship contacts will be made and acts will be finalized in early fall.  He also plans to make some changes to the site to make it more spectator-friendly.

Although Henwood has no doubts in recruiting the required volunteer levels needed to run the event, he says it's too early to tell how successful they'll be.

The show is being set in Southport for June 2nd and 3rd.
