Staying positive is a must right now for the Southport Aeros.

The Aeros compete in the Second Division of the Manitoba Major Soccer League, and so far, after 7 games this season, haven't been able to lock down their first victory.

Coach, Roger Fooks, says that this year is a transition period, in that the club is very young and what they need is experience, and of course the only way to get that is to play. He admits that this season is going to be a really tough year, but adds that the Aeros roster is handling it well, by not getting down on themselves and they are reacting positively. Fooks is just one of the team coaches and is just now been able to come back and guide the team. He says he's going to make every effort to turn their fortune around and in the meantime, he's trying to persuade some veterans that he used to coach, to join the Aeros, for some much needed experience.

Fooks and the Aeros have a chance tonight to get on the winning track when they host AC Slater at 7:30.
