Johnny Dietrich and the Sharpe Sisters will perform at the 10th annual "Voices of the Prairie" concert in Portage la Prairie tomorrow night.

Dietrich says it's hard to believe this is the show's tenth anniversary, noting everyone is very excited about a new venue, a new band, and the Sharpe Sisters' brand new CD. He notes this time around the concert will take place at the CanadInns, adding the wonderful folks there have been bending over backward to help out.

Dietrich says all proceeds this year are going to the Herman Prior Centre because they're such a big part of the community and they do so much for seniors and other folks in Portage.

Kathy Bryce notes she and her sisters are extremely excited to have recorded a CD and to have the opportunity to hold the release party during their brother's big show on Saturday. Bryce says they've written many of the tunes themselves, adding the songs are about their family life and growing up on the farm.

Dietrich notes tickets are going fast for the "Voices of the Prairie" show. The doors will open at six o'clock tomorrow and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
