Support continues to roll in for Braden Pettinger, who was seriously injureded following an on ice accident last year while playing with the Portage Terriers.

Pettinger remains at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg working on his recovery.

His cousin Tyson Pettinger, and Tyson's father, have completed work on a 1,250 square foot ready to move home.

“It was a labour of love and the home is something we thought we could do as a family to help Braden with his recovery” said Tyson Pettinger.

The home is on display at a yard site just east of Elgin and the Pettingers hope the three bedroom-two bathroom house will appeal to somebody and it will sell quickly.

“It's a great house and at $86 a square foot is a real bargain. We are asking $107,500 and plan to donate about $75,000 to Braden and his parents.”

Pettinger says the house is an open concept and looks really nice. “So far we've been showing the home to about six people per week and it is only a matter of time before the right buyer comes along.”

People interested in looking at the house can call Tyson to set up an appointment by calling 1-204-741-0472.
