Portage la Prairie firefighters were called out around 9 o'clock last night, to deal with a burning vehicle about 10 miles north of the city, on Road 76 North.

When they arrived, they found a small half-ton truck engulfed in flames.

They extinguished the fire, but the truck was destroyed.

No one was hurt, and there's no damage estimate available.

The fire's being investigated.
