It was an interesting morning for those at Southport Aerospace. At some point overnight, a vehicle had crashed through the wall of the gateway building, which also serves as the headquarters for Southport Aerospace. No injuries were reported, but Southport Director of Operations Wade Linden says with the extensive damage, they're going to face some challenges.

"It was an interesting night for someone, and it's going to be an interesting night for us."

Linden found out about the incident at about five o'clock this morning and says they're not exactly sure what they're going to be doing for headquarters while repairs take place. However, he anticipates they'll have some parts of the building ready by the end of the day.

An investigation is underway into the matter, and the RCMP has charged a 26 year-old man with impaired driving related to the incident.

We'll have more details as they become available.
