The RM of Macdonald may need to upgrade to a bigger office in Sanford after recent growth. Reeve Brad Erb says they're just taking a preliminary look at their needs.

"We just wanted to get some insight, and analysis on our office. It doesn't particularly, or necessarily going to lead to an expansion but maybe a reconfiguration of the existing space."

Reeve Brad Erb says they may need to move locations, but some analysis has to be done first.

"Actually, nothing's been looked at yet. We're just authorizing some money to be spent toward doing the analysis. We really have no preconceived idea what that will look like, we're just trying to get someone in to look at the building, the envelope of the building, and give us some options on what could transpire based on our needs."

Erb explains there's a couple of options.

"We've brought on a couple with the growth, we've had to increase some of the staffing we have in (the office) and we want to try to accommodate them as best we can. One of the options would be potential expansion down the road, or just reconfiguring some of the existing the space."

The RM of Macdonald's office is in Sanford, and Erb says they don't have any idea what the result will be.
