Sunset Palliative Care's Christmas Memory Tree is up now at the PCU Centre.

Volunteer Coordinator Aldene Moroz explains it's easy to take part. "People can go and ask for either a dove or a little card, and write a brief little note to whoever they want, and if they want they can make a donation as well, they'll also get a tax deduction for that as well," says Moroz. "That's a tradition that has been going on for many years with Palliative Care. We're 24 years old and we're celebrating our 25th next year, and this is a really good little thing for people to remember as we approach a new year."

Moroz says it's inspiring to see all the messages filled with love upon the wall.

"People love that tree. It gives people a chance to leave a dove, or red little card with a dove, and write a little love note to a person that may have gone away recently or in the past. It's really nice to see the notes, I often read them and think I almost know the person who've they written the note too. It's really inspiring to see what people say."

She loves the support the Memory Tree gets from the community.
