Portage la Prairie's Lions Prairie Manor's holding its annual fundraiser lunch tomorrow. Foundation Chairman Murray Graham outlines their schedule.

"Lunch runs from 11:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. rain or shine. We'll have a big tent if it's raining for people to sit under. We have a menu of pulled pork and barbecue sauce on a bun, baked beans, cole slaw, corn on the cob, and a desert. There's a 50-50 draw, and we have entertainment. Johnny Dietrich and Ken Wetlauffer."

Murray GrahamGraham explains where the money's going.

"All the proceeds go to the foundation and are distributed for the benefit of residents who live at Lions Prairie Manor. This has been going on for as long as I can remember. I came to town in 1992 as administrator for the Manor. I know that we have been holding this ever since."

He says they appreciate the support they've been getting from the community. Graham says many come out and help is offered from volunteers representing many organizations, including the banks. He notes some staff from the Manor are involved along with some of the residents.
