Expect the warm weather to stick around for the next couple of months.

Environment Canada's Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Natalie Hasell says November, December, and January should all be well above normal temps, but she does expect it to drop.

"If we look at some of the information provided to us by the International Research Institute for Climate and Society, they're suggesting that the La Nina conditions that we're seeing in the oceans now but not quite in the atmosphere yet, will be felt much more strongly later in the season. January and February could be quite cold."

She says December should be a little closer to normal, but La Nina temperatures are expected to last for a while. She adds we'll have to wait and see how things go, but you should take the time to get ready for the next season.
