Yesterday saw the Club Snow Demo Ride take place at the Rossendale Warm Up Shelter.

Club Snow president Tony McIvor notes they had a good turnout for the event with around 75 people coming out to take part. This is the second year the event has taken place and McIvor explains the inspiration behind it.

"It was just an opportunity for the different dealers. They support us all the time so we thought we'd do something for them so they could show off their machines and people that are interested in getting into the market can come and check them out, test drive them, ask questions and make their decision from there."

The Demo Ride gives people the chance to test out different snowmobiles from brands including Polaris, Yamaha and Arctic Cat on the over 400 km of trails at Club Snow. Kirk Gyselinck, the owner and general manager of Avenue Honda Polaris attended the Demo Ride and shares what brought him out to the event.

"Just wanted to give local snowmobilers the chance to try our new sleds, be able to go for a test ride, [as well as] have a hot dog with our customers."

Gyselinck adds the turnout was awesome even though the weather wasn't completely cooperative.
