A presentation entitled Geocaching 101 took place Saturday at the Portage Regional Library. Lorna Knight attended the session with her husband Derek, and their 3 children, and says they really enjoyed the presentation and the look forward to trying geocaching on their own.

"I thought it was amazing! It was a great presentation and it gave us a good idea of what we were going to need if we went out to do it. There were 2 samples hidden for us and we used the gps devices to locate them, and they were hidden just around the library. It was really hard, but it was a good introduction to geocaching, and it got us really primed and ready to go do it ourselves!"

Knight says the presentation included a lot of great information.

"I had a little bit an idea of what it was going to be like ahead of time, but I think being able to actually use the gps devices to go and look for the items was a great introduction to it. The neatest part about it is that you never know where the item is going to or what you're going to find when you get there. Geocaching is just an awesome little adventure!"
