The Portage Community Revitalization Corporation is looking for input as the organization prepares to develop its next five year plan. Executive Director Val Garlick says they'd like to hear what priorities the community has and what people would like the PCRC to focus on over the coming years. Garlick notes they've decided to do some surveys and a few focus groups so they can connect with the community in lots of different ways. She says the survey will be available in both an on-line version as well as a paper version. Garlick notes some specific areas of focus will include housing and safety, adding they'll also want to hear where Portagers imagine their city being in five years time, and what we can all do to get there.

She says the PCRC is looking for some folks to serve on the steering committee and be ambassadors for this program. Garlick notes they'd also really like to see our city's youth get involved, so if there are high school students or anyone else in the community who might be interested in participating they can call the PCRC office for more information.
