RCMP and EMS were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision at Saskatchewan Avenue and 24th St., in Portage la Prairie just prior to 4 p.m. today. Visible damage was seen near the rear of a passenger vehicle involved. An SUV was towed from the scene. Police say there were no serious injuries sustained and EMS were called as a precaution. Mounties say driver error caused an inital accident between two vehicles, and then another driver not paying attention caused a subsequent collision. The scene is now cleared.
