Tomorrow's your chance to meet and greet a couple of the candidates running in the Portage la Prairie constituency in this month's provincial election.

The Portage Chamber of Commerce and the Portage Community Revitalization Corporation have partnered to host it. Chamber Executive Director Cindy McDonald outlines the event.

"It's free to attend, and it's going to be at the Herman Prior Centre in the Crocus room. The Chamber has partnered with PCRC on the meet and greet, and we wanted to give the public a chance to come and ask the candidates questions."

McDonald says there'll be two candidates attending.

"The two candidates that will be there are Ian Wishart, the Progressive Conservative candidate. And Stephen Prince, the Liberal candidate will be there."

She adds it's a great time to ask questions.

"So it's just a good opportunity to find out where (the candidates) stand on issues that are important to them, and get more informed. We want everyone to make an informed decision when it's time to vote."

The event starts at 6:30 tomorrow night, and goes until 8:30.
