Birdwatchers flock to Delta to observe fall migration birds.

Birdwatching friends Jake Peters, Adolf Ens, Denis Boese and Ron Wiebe were out at Delta Beach earlier this week to observe the birds in the area. They'd seen many different species, form great blue herons to killdeers.

Boese says they were just out enjoying the day.

"It's nice to be out on a nice Fall day, and go birding and enjoy the weather and the landscape and your friends. We're just enjoying the day."

They add one of their friends used to always say a bad day of birdwatching was better than a good day at the office.
