Something new is coming to Portage la Prairie, but it's a secret until tomorrow.

That's according to City Councillor Ryan Espey, who gives a bit of a hint at what it might be.

"Well, as a teaser, it would have to do with something that Portage doesn't have and there's a need for. I'm not talking about a splash pad, so don't show up thinking about that. But there's definitely a gap needing to be filled, and we have an opportunity, and that's all I can tell you until Tuesday rolls around."

Espey says there are many ways you can hear the announcement including Portage Online, but the best way is to come to council's meeting tomorrow night.
