UPDATE:

An emergency response official says four people were transported by ground to Portage hospital, and three were passengers of the truck involved in the collision. All of those transported to hospital sustained non-life threatening injuries. STARS Air Ambulance did land on scene, but did not transport anyone. Hwy 13 was temporarily closed while STARS landed, and one lane for a short distance on Hwy 1. They have since re-opened. The collision remains under investigation.

STARS Air Ambulance was on scene at a crash East of Portage la Prairie. 

At 3:52 p.m. Portage la Prairie Fire responded to a call at Highway 1 and Highway 13 including one vehicle in the ditch, and another sustaining front end damage. RCMP, EMS, and Fire were all on scene, and can confirm STARS was called to the scene. There's been no update on conditions of anyone involved.

Traffic is down to 1 lane heading east at the moment but should be back up and running fully soon.
