The Portage Terriers made a move as part of a flurry of trade activity across the Manitoba Junior Hockey League yesterday.

The Terriers acquired the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) playing rights of 18-year-old forward Brendan Kochanski from the Dauphin Kings in exchange for future considerations.

The six-foot-two, 201-pound Winnipeg native had three points (0-3--3) in 15 games with Dauphin this season. He spent most of the 2014-15 season playing with the Winnipeg Thrashers in the Manitoba Midget AAA Hockey league, recording 18 points (8-10--18) and 136 penalty minutes in 37 games.
