Jeremy Leipsic's three goals led the Portage Terriers to a 5-2 victory over OCN yesterday in MJHL hockey.

The Terriers scored twice in the opening period. Jeremy Leipsic got his first of the night while newest Terrier Ty Barnstable got his first in his first game with the team.

James McIsaac got things going in the second, extending the Dogs' lead to 3, but it was short lived as OCN stormed back with two of their own to cut it to one. Leipsic would add his second to make it 4-2 with a few minutes to go in the period.

OCN came out looking like a comeback could be possible but Terriers' goalie Brock Aiken turned away every shot he faced in the last 20 minutes. Leipsic finished off the Blizzard with his third goal of the night, and 21st of the year, with a little over five minutes to go.

The two teams will go again Saturday night at 7:30.
