The Central Plains Capitals are back on the ice tonight after Wednesday's dramatic shootout win in Portage.

They host the Parkland Rangers today in Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey at the PCU Centre. Capitals' forward Tyler Van Deynze has 3 (1G,2A) points this season. He outlines the best way to be ready for the first puck drop.

"A good warm up, and really focus on the game. Work as a team especially, use your teammates out there."

Van Deynze says if they stick to their game they'll be successful.

"Run and gun, have a good forecheck, and play hard and play our game."

The Caps and Rangers go at 3:45 p.m. at the PCU Centre.
