The 134th Portage Ex begins tomorrow on Island Park. It'll run until Monday. 

Donna Andrich is this year's Portage Ex president, heading a dedicated core of committee members and volunteers. She calls it a labour of love, adding a significant number have been involved for many years. 

Andrich encourages anyone interested to become involved.

This year's Portage Ex theme is "Experiencing Agriculture". Andrich explains it's to show how important it is to the community, especially with the hard times farmers have gone through in recent years. 

She's hoping for good crowds, noting local businesses benefit as well.
