The Portage la Prairie school division has wrapped up an accessibility project at École Arthur Meighen School. Superintendent Todd Cuddington says they've added ramps at the bus entranceway and also where the parents drop off and pick up their kids. Cuddington notes the ramps are basically done, so it's now just a matter of finalizing some landscaping and perhaps also installing some handrails. He says this was all part of the division's accessibility plan, where each year they target a couple of schools which need to have barrier-free access.
