The Chief of Staff for the Central Regional Health Authority wants to make sure you don't over do it this summer.  Dr. Denis Fortier says when we are out in the hot sun it's easy to become dehydrated. He stresses the importance of drinking lots of fluids, adding if you're outside and sweating you may need to drink several litres of water just to stay hydrated.
Fortier notes symptoms of dehydration are similar to the flu.  If you become dizzy or see black spots Fortier recommends cooling down in an air conditioned building.
