Portage's Ag Rep says it's a good looking year for producers. Shawn Cabak notes area producers had a chance to get their crops in early this year and it's proved beneficial as crops are about two weeks early. Cabak calls this year a complete turn around from last year's flooded and disease plagued fields. Although he says the crops aren't in the bin just yet it appears as if it's going to be a successful year. Cabak adds area producers would benefit from some rain. |
